Our oyster shucking boards are made from hardwoods from the western foothills of Appalachia, and sustainably harvested, logged, milled, and dried on our property. These boards are simple, stable, and improve the safety of shucking oysters: the lip on the bottom is designed to catch the edge of a counter or table and the āVā firmly holds the oyster in place. Effective for shucking from either the bill or the hinge end of the oysters.
Other woods are available, and we are happy to take orders.
